Colenel(Dr) Shivji Misra(Retd) was born in a well educated Kanyakubj Brahmin family in Kanpur(Uttar Pradesh).  Grand Father was “Inspector of Schools” in Uttar Pradesh State Government and Father served in various senior positions with Uttar Pradesh & Rajasthan State Government. Father was disciple of Sri Aurobindo & The Mother and visited Pondycherry many times in 1970’s and 1980’s. Colonel Misra from his school days Attended Sunday Meditations and Savitri Reading Session in Meerut Centre, Uttar Pradesh.
